About the educator

Stephanie Ryan 

Early Childhood Educator

Stephanie grew up in the Sonoran Desert, where she has spent much of her life. She has over a decade of experience working with children in a variety of settings, from classroom spaces to outdoor and home environments. 


She is dedicated to a model of liberatory anti-bias education that centers the development of children's autonomy and a deep sense of community and compassion. 


Stephanie is a lifelong learner, who holds an AAS in Early Childhood Education from Paradise Valley Community College. She also holds certificates in Foundations in Storytelling and Environmental and Resource Conservation. She is fluent in Italian, and has basic ASL skills.


Stephanie is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the North American Reggio Emilia Association.
